Time & Task Management ↗ Project Management: Fundamental Overview: • This workshop is designed to introduce an overview of project management for new and experienced individuals who do occasional projects. • The program provides the basic tools necessary to plan for, organize, and implement small and large projects. • A systematic approach to project leadership (team member interaction) and project management (scope, scheduling, control, results) is introduced with emphasis placed on best practices. • Participants get hands on experience in applying the tools to real projects. ↗ Project Management: Advanced Overview: • This workshop is designed for experienced project managers to enhance their ability to implement strong project management methodology as it applies to large projects: more than 50 tasks. • The program provides in-depth information around five key project management tools: Project Charter, WBS, Project Plan, Status Reporting, and Issue Management. • The program topics include references to: MS Project, OPM3 Standards, Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge. • The program supports learning for the Project Management Professional Certificate testing. ↗ Problem Solving Process Overview: • This “hands-on” workshop provides a practical overview of problem solving techniques that work and involves participants with “live” problems. • Working in teams, participants learn and practice a six-step model to problem solving and various key tools used for each of the six steps. • Various brainstorming and assessment techniques to determine viable options and alternative courses of action are used. • Systematic problem solving approaches are presented, demonstrated and evaluated. • Heavy emphasis on experiential learning makes this a highly interactive, stimulating and exciting workshop. ↗ Managing Time & Priorities Successfully Overview: • This program provides time management techniques to enable participants to achieve desired results in key working and personal roles. • A variety of exercises, discussions, and self-assessment instruments are included. This was a very good class, will help me drive any projects I am working on more efficiently. David was a great instructor.
